TalkHR Christmas Sparkle Online Event - Age UK South Glos Fundraiser · 6 December 2023

We provide the best possible services that older people want, whilst looking at new and innovative ways of working. We have significant experience working with marginalised, hard to reach and seldom heard older people. AUKSG services support older people to feel empowered, respected, and connected

Story

This year for our annual TalkHR Christmas Sparkle online event, we are raising money for Age UK South Gloucestershire. Age UK South Gloucestershire is a charity that supports, inspires, and enables older people, helping them to make the most of later life.

Most people will feel lonely at some point in their lives. It’s a deeply personal experience that - in most cases - will thankfully pass. Sadly, 2.65m older people feel they have no one to turn to for help, and around 3.9m older people consider TV to be their main form of company.

Age UK South Gloucestershire is on a mission to be there on the hardest days, and every day. With your help, they can provide friendship and support for the thousands of older people spending Christmas alone.

So please donate using gift aid and join us as we host a Christmas Sparkle Fun Event online using Zoom. The date for your diary is Wednesday 6th December (6.30 - 7.30 pm). There will be prizes and the usual Christmas Cocktails and festivities hosted by me. Bookings are being taken via this page, and are on a limited basis. If you are unable to make the event but still want to donate to this great cause then a heartfelt thank you in advance from me to you!

** Thank you to those who donated to our other Just Giving page and helped us to raise £130 already for AgeUK South Gloucestershire!
