Running the Serengeti for girls who deserve a bigger world
In October this year, I’ll be running the Grumeti Girls Run in Tanzania, three half marathons (21.1km each), in three days across the Serengeti, to raise funds for girls’ education and empowerment through the Grumeti Fund.
On paper, it’s a physical challenge. In reality, it’s something much deeper.
I’ve been incredibly fortunate. Education, opportunity and the freedom to build my own business have shaped my life in ways I don’t take for granted. Not every girl is given that same foundation.
In parts of rural Tanzania, many girls face significant barriers to completing school and building independent futures. The Grumeti Fund supports education programmes, mentorship and career development initiatives designed to give young women real choice and real opportunity.
To participate, I’ve committed to raising USD $17,000, which goes directly toward these initiatives.
This isn’t about running a race. It’s about backing girls who deserve the same chance to thrive.
If you feel inspired to support this journey, I would be deeply grateful. Every contribution, large or small, goes directly to empowering young women to build brighter futures.
Thank you for being part of something bigger.
