This weekend I'm taking on the National Three Peaks Challenge (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon) with the aim of completing all three within 24 hours…or as close as the weather and the M6 will allow!

I'm doing it for Forever Colours Children's Hospice. Forever Colours has been Centricus's charity partner since its inception in 2018, and I've watched it grow from an idea into something that changes families' lives.

Forever Colours supports families caring for babies, children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions. It provides a range of critical family-focused services including supervised respite, support for siblings who often get overlooked, days out, one-to-one help, and end-of-life and bereavement care for families going through the worst thing imaginable. It's a small charity doing extraordinarily difficult work, and every pound goes a long way.

So rather than simply putting myself through 24 hours of mountains, tired legs and questionable decision-making, I thought I'd turn it into something useful.
