Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As most of our supporters will be aware, Gareloch RDA sadly lost their much loved pony, Ralph, in December, leaving the charity short of equines for our ridden sessions, with participants having to alternate weeks for their riding therapy.
It has taken a while to find a suitable horse to step in to the vacant position, but Gareloch RDA finally found the perfect boy, Ruairí, a Strawberry Roan, Irish Cob, standing at 15.1hh.
Unfortunately the cost of having to bring in a new horse, along with rising costs for feed, hay, livery etc means that Gareloch RDA are in need of funds to enable them to keep supporting local people with disabilities have access to equine sport and therapy.
Gareloch RDA is run by volunteers, and provides equine sports and therapy to local people of ages, with varying disabilities.
2026 is the 50th anniversary of Gareloch RDA and it would mean a great deal to myself, and many others, if we could keep this amazing charity running for another 50 years.
