In August 2024, I was unfortunate enough to slip while hiking Ben Vane.

I sustained multiple fractures to my ankle and dislocated my foot, requiring me to be rescued by Arrochar Mountain rescue.

These men and women put their own personal safety at risk day and night in all weather conditions so that people such as myself can be brought off the mountains safely.
