On Sunday 7th September 2025, I will be taking part in my first ever Great North Run.

I have joined #TeamRedCross to ensure that they can help anyone, anywhere in the UK and around the world, get the support they need if crisis strikes.

Whether it’s in the UK or abroad in Gaza, Sudan, Myanmar and Ukraine, it feels like the British Red Cross has never been needed more.

When emergencies cause people to flee their homes, the Red Cross provides disaster relief, helping make sure they have food, shelter and other help they need.

No matter how difficult or dangerous things get, the British Red Cross is ready to face these challenges, bringing comfort and aid when all hope and humanity feels lost.
