Story
Following the tragic death of my baby Oscar who was born sleeping, I have decided to Sky Dive from 15,000ft on the 12th October 2024 during Baby Loss Awareness Week to raise money for the incredible midwives and service that have looked after myself and Oscar through the birth and the support they gave me months following.
The Mary Delve suite is the room at Torbay Hospital that I used to give birth to my son.
The department is so important to people like myself who have to give birth to their babies sleeping, there is a comfortable room, decorated beautifully which allows you to spend time quietly with your baby without hearing the hustle and bustle of the delivery ward, this time with Oscar was so very precious and I will never forget that time spent with him in my arms.
I want to raise money for this service so they can buy much needed equipment, keep sakes for families, keep the room comfortable, and ensure all the midwives are trained in this area so that anyone going through what I did can be supported in the best way possible.
Please donate anything you can in Oscars name to help these wonderful ladies make the unimaginable slightly more bearable.
Oscar, my boy, sleep tight 🤍🩵
