The harsh reality is if we didn't have researchers dedicating their lives to my survival, I wouldn't be here. But they do, and I'll always be eternally grateful.

The women who have gone before me have left a legacy of knowledge, that we need these researchers to understand, to get us to a cure.

Getting funding for research is really tough, and it takes a village to raise the awareness it deserves.
