Story
Hi there,
Frankie and I are really proud (and somewhat apprehensive) to be doing a Sahara Trek in October this year.
It is a trek that our gorgeous friend, Izzy's wonderful Mum, Collette, did many years ago.
Collette sadly died in 2017 after so bravely fighting Cancer and it is an honour to walk in her steps for the Rosie May Charity.
Whilst we are all devastated that both Collette and Rosie May died too early, we are thrilled to keep them in our hearts and do something very positive in their names.
So we are embarking on an Epic Journey to Change Lives, and it would be great if you can support our Sahara Trek!
This October, we will be trading the comforts of home for an extraordinary adventure across the breath taking Sahara Desert. We’ll endure scorching heat and challenging terrain—all for a cause close to our hearts.
Why are we doing this? Because every step we take will help provide hope and opportunity to children and families supported by the Rosie May Foundation. Your donation directly funds life-changing projects, including education for children in Sri Lanka and safe transport initiatives empowering women in India.
Each Rosie May trekker has committed to raising at least £1,000, a contribution that makes a massive difference:
£25 provides a school bag filled with essential supplies for a child.
£50 funds a week’s worth of after-school English lessons.
We’re not just walking for the experience—we’re walking for brighter futures, safer communities, and a world where every child has a chance.
