Why I’m Walking

On 13th September, I’ll be taking on the 65km End to End Walk across the Isle of Man to raise money for the Mannin Cancer Help Centre.

Cancer is something that touches so many of us, whether through our own experiences or through someone we love. I wanted to take on a challenge that would push me physically, while raising money for a cause that makes a real difference to people here on the Island.

The Mannin Cancer Help Centre provides a safe, supportive space for people affected by cancer and their families offering care, comfort, information and support when people need it most.

65km is going to be a huge challenge, but knowing that every step is helping to raise awareness and vital funds will give me plenty of motivation when my legs start to hurt!

If you’re able to donate, no matter how big or small, I would be incredibly grateful. Every donation will help the Mannin Cancer Help Centre continue supporting people through what can be one of the most difficult times in their lives.
