As most of you know, I've lost 6 stone since September 2023 through the help of a gastric sleeve.

January 2024, my son was diagnosed with meningitis. He was at a Manchester hospital but the facilities there wasn't all that great.

When I heard that Alder Hey Children's hospital wanted to raise money to help build a cinema room with all the latest movies, I wanted to help. The cinema room will be a god send to all the children and families who are staying at the hospital long term. It will give them a sense of normality. It will help them socialise and give them something to look forward to. Give them a chance to get out of there room or ward. Let's bring some little smiles back to some little faces.

So, I'm now light enough to jump out of a plane so with using the help of my weightloss, I thought sod it, I'll jump out of a plane and raise some money.

I wish that there was something like this for when I had my stay in hospital with my son. My son was so fed up when he was finally on the mend. He played enough board games to last him a long time.
