Story
Tara was an incredible friend with an infectious sense of humor and a carefree spirit. She made everyone around her feel special and loved. Whether she was dancing, traveling somewhere new, or hunting for the best thrift store finds, Tara brought unmistakable energy and joy to everything she did.
Tribeca was home to Tara for so much of her life. It was where she grew up and where she returned as an adult, making it a fitting place to honor her and her memory. We hope to dedicate a bench along the Hudson River as a lasting tribute to Tara, her adventurous spirit, generous heart, and the love and joy she brought to those around her. The bench will be a place where family, friends, and members of the community can pause, take in the river, celebrate her life, and carry a little of her spirit forward.
We are raising funds to make this dedication possible and would be so grateful for any contribution, big or small, to help us create a lasting place in Tribeca where Tara will always be remembered. Thank you for helping us honor someone who meant so much to so many.
The dedication bench plaque will be placed in Hudson River Park in memory of Tara. If we reach our $6,000 goal, this bench plaque will be in the Park for 6 years.
If you prefer to donate via check, DAF, stock, or other payment options, please visit hudsonriverpark.org/payment and email dedications@hudsonriverpark.org so it is counted toward our goal.
