Story
As some of you may know, my amazing, brave dad sadly passed away from colon cancer in January of this year. We're all terribly sad and miss him, but we're extremely grateful to the MacMillan and cancer nurses who supported him and my mum during the last few months - a truly phenomenal team.
In memory of dad, I've decided to hike to Everest Base Camp in Nepal in September of this year and raise funds for this extraordinary charity.
I've a target of £4,000, which I really hope you'll help me smash as it all goes to this incredible charity.
Macmillan gives people with cancer everything they’ve got to help them through. All monies received will go directly to the charity.
I know my dad would be secretly proud and affectionately call me "mad", but I guess this is my way to help...in my natural habitat...the mountains.
It's a tough trek, I know, and incredibly high at 5,364m, but the cause is such a worthwhile charity.
Please donate generously.
Forever grateful.
Tara x
