Walking 10 miles to Bristol to show our support for our school...for our children!

We have a dedicated PTA that's is organising events to raise funds for outdoor play equipment and a massive installation of a climbing area. As part of the team we want to show our support and commitment.

Healthy playtimes provide essential opportunities for children: to form relationships with peers and develop postive social skills, a distraction from the demands of the busy classroom, explore safe unboundried creativity, experience a sense of freedom and autonomy as well as an outlet to process their bountiful energy and playfullness....and more!

We see first hand the financial crisis the education system is under...as parents, staff and careers we would like to do our part to protect the children from feeling these pressures. As a school of over 400 children, play equipment constantly needs replacing from use and enjoyment.

Wind, Rain, Snow, Sleet or Sun....we will leave from the school gates, walk 10 miles to Bristol via Pill. Follow the Facebook event for updates (live on the day). Children can leave messages of encouragement to their teacher/support staff/SLT ect.....Team PPS!
