Story
Leonard Stanley Primary is lucky enough to have a school swimming pool, that is used by both pupils and our local community during the summer months. The pool has been around for decades, and is a much loved community asset.
Due to subsidence and cracks caused by extreme weather in recent years, we have had to close the pool, and we are now embarking on a huge campaign to rebuild and reopen, to restore it to its former glory.
We need to raise nearly £60,000 - the long-term loss of our beloved swimming pool would be a tragedy, so please support me in my crazy 100km in 2 days challenge!
I will be be doing the 'daylight challenge', which looks like:
Day 1 – Cirencester > Wotton
Saturday 22 June 2024
53 km & ~1600m climb
Day 2 – Wotton > Cirencester
Sunday 23 June 2024
47 km & ~650m climb
