Story
My nephew baby Adam made a VERY early entrance in December '24 at just 23 weeks (4 months premature), weighing 800g / 1.8lbs, and with a severe case of chronic lung disease, grade 2 bleed in his brain, and a hole in his heart. As he fought for his life in NICU, it was only possible for his parents Anita and Paul to be with him around the clock, and drop life saving milk deliveries, due to the amazing kindness of the Sick Children's Trust, which houses families with babies and children in intensive care units around the country. Without this wonderful charity, the situation would have been untenable.
Adam's journey was an extreme case, but one of many cases taking place every day around the UK.
