The East Lancashire Hospice is an amazing place with a wonderful staff who genuinely care about patients and their families.

Sadly, in April this year after bravely living with a brain tumour, my dad was admitted for end of life care at the hospice. His final days were spent in comfort, surrounded by people who cared and showed compassion for the whole family.

I am so grateful for the way we were supported and appreciate the care dad received.

Pol and I will be completing a 20 mile walk from Bolton Abbey to Grassington and back, following the River Wharfe and passing through Barden, Appletreewick and Burnsall.

This walk is in memory of my dad, and to raise as much as we can for this amazing place.
