This disease is truly cruel, and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. Watching my Nan change from the fiery, funny, and hardworking woman she has always been into the person she is today breaks my heart every day.

Taking on a 30-mile walk in a few weeks, after completing 46 miles last year, is a small challenge compared to what our family experiences every day, and what so many other families are facing too.

If I can raise even a little money to support research, awareness, and those affected by this disease, then it’s something meaningful I can do for my Nan.
