Expedition Limitless 2026: My Arctic Mission for Manx Kids
In March 2026, I’ll be stepping way outside my comfort zone and right into the Arctic Circle...swapping the Isle of Man’s rolling hills and four-seasons-in-a-day weather for 120 kilometres of snow, ice, and sheer determination in Sweden’s frozen wilderness.
Why? Because some challenges are just too important to turn down.
I’ve signed up to be part of Expedition Limitless 2026 — a once-in-a-lifetime trek that brings together 14 novice explorers to face the brutal Arctic environment. From March 17th to April 1st, we’ll endure harsh conditions, test our physical and mental grit, and work as a team to cross this frozen frontier… completely unsupported.
And it’s all for an incredible cause.
We’re aiming to raise £200,000 for two amazing Isle of Man children’s charities:
💛 Rebecca House, which provides essential palliative care and respite for children with life-limiting conditions.
💛 The Children’s Centre, which offers vital support services to children and families right here in our local community.
This isn’t just a walk in the (Arctic) park - for me, this challenge is deeply personal. It’s about proving I can do hard things. It’s about building confidence, resilience, and reminding myself (and maybe inspiring others too!) that stepping out of your depths is where real growth happens.
So if you believe in supporting children, families, and a very cold but determined human doing something extraordinary — please consider donating or sharing my journey.
