Tandem Skydive Christmas fundraising Appeal

On the 6th December I will be leaping from the sky over Whitchurch to raise money for both Asha North Staffordshire and Emmaus North Staffordshire.

My friend Angela Glendenning (age 90) who is a founding member of ASHA asked for a few volunteers to join her on this tandem skydive to raise £10,000 for these charities. Inspired by this appeal I didnt hesistate.

Asha provides support and services to around one thousand asylum seekers accommodated in Stoke. At Christmas, this means a gigantic party to which everyone is invited.

Emmaus’s ‘Beds for Kids’ campaign seeks to alleviate furniture poverty by providing beds for approximately 9000 children in North Staffordshire, whose parents are unable to tuck them up in bed at night.

Let's make Christmas brighter for children who have fled unimaginable hardship, and for those who don’t have a bed to call their own.
