For many women (and some men), breast cancer or the BRCA gene journey doesn’t end after surgery. Survivors are often left with scars — both physical and emotional. Areola tattooing can be the final step in helping them reclaim their confidence and feel whole again.

The Tata Foundation provides free 3D areola tattoos to anyone who needs them, regardless of financial situation. This specialised form of medical tattooing restores the appearance of the nipple and areola after mastectomy or breast reconstruction — a powerful step in the healing process.
