Over 30,000 people have been killed and 70,000 wounded in attacks on Gaza since 7th October. Hospitals have been bombed and the lack of food and clean water is causing disease to spread rapidly amongst survivors. Thousands in Gaza are in urgent need of medical attention now.

Families in Palestine have been left unable to enjoy the most basic of human rights such as access to food, water and medical treatment. Around 2 million Palestinians struggle with food insecurity [UN] – in Gaza alone over 68% of people are living below the poverty line.

An unprecedented 93% of the population in Gaza is facing crisis levels of hunger, with insufficient food and high levels of malnutrition – WHO.

We are fundraising for Muslim Hands who have been working in Palestine since 2007, providing medical care, food, education and livelihoods support to families across the country.

The rewards of giving sadaqah during Ramadan are multiplied by 70 and as we enter the last 10 days of Ramadan, the reward for any righteous act during Laylatul Qadr is equivalent to having performed the same act for over 83 years.
