Story
In 2027, I'll be running the London Marathon to raise money for Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice.
This is a charity that's very close to me. My partner Emma's mum, Debs, was diagnosed with lung cancer and, after fighting it with everything she had, spent the last four weeks of her life at the hospice.
The care and support Debs received was outstanding, and the staff were there not only for her but also for Emma and everyone around her during an incredibly difficult time. I'll always be grateful for everything they did.
Running the London Marathon is my way of giving something back and helping the hospice continue providing the same level of care and support to other families facing the toughest of times.
My goal is to get as many people as possible to donate £26.20—£1 for every mile of the marathon. Of course, any donation, big or small, will make a real difference and is hugely appreciated.
Thank you for your support. Every donation helps, and every mile I run will be for Debs.
