I am excited to say that, I am back, cycling Suffolk Historic Church’s Trust organised Ride and Stride Sponsored Cycle Ride. I’m once again cycling in the annual sponsored Ride & Stride organised by SHCT. Half the money I raise will help repair our beautiful Grade I listed St Mary’s, Mendlesham, which will soon need costly repairs to the nave roof; the other half goes to SHCT, which runs the event and makes grants to churches and chapels of all denominations for repair and restoration.

This will be my second time cycling the event, after a few years off my bike. I am very much looking forward to visiting 25+ Suffolk churches, fuelled by a passion for are historic environment, and maybe a few jelly babies sheared with my running mate!

Any donation is welcome as are prayers that it will be a tad colder then it was on my last ride and stride!
