On Saturday 20 June 2026,12 members of the X-Ray Imaging Department at Heartlands Hospital will be taking on this incredible challenge to raise much-needed funds for our department and support staff wellbeing.

Every day, our team cares for patients during some of the most difficult and uncertain moments of their lives. Behind every scan is a person waiting for answers, reassurance, and hope. While we work hard to provide the very best care possible, the environment we work in can often feel clinical, stressful, and emotionally draining for both patients and staff.

We want to change that.

The money raised will help us create a more welcoming, calming, and supportive space within the department — somewhere that feels less intimidating for patients and more uplifting for the staff who dedicate themselves tirelessly to caring for others every single day.
