I am thrilled to be running the York Marathon in support of the Limbless Association.
Some of you may remember that I previously raised funds to run the London Marathon in support of this fantastic charity. Unfortunately, due to an issue with my registration, I was unable to take part in the race. Of course, having already raised £931, I was determined not to let that stop me from completing the challenge so I have signed up to run the York Marathon this October instead.
The Limbless Association provides invaluable advice, support and a sense of community to people living with limb loss across the UK. Their work helps individuals navigate the challenges that can come with amputation, rebuild their confidence and move forward with their lives.
As a firm, BBK have the privilege of working closely with individuals and families facing life-changing challenges. Through our work, I’ve seen first-hand the incredible resilience of those living with limb loss, as well as the vital support provided by the Limbless Association.
The £931 already raised was a fantastic start, but there is still an opportunity to raise even more for a cause that does such important work. Every donation, no matter the size, will help ensure that those affected by limb loss have access to the support, guidance, and encouragement they deserve.
