Story
We are proud to be participating in the Edinburgh Marathon Festival 2026 on 24 May 2026, running with hope and determination to support Pancreatic Cancer Action. This incredible charity is the only one in the UK solely dedicated to saving lives through early diagnosis of pancreatic cancer — a disease that tragically claims too many lives too soon.
Pancreatic cancer is the fifth biggest cancer killer and the tenth most common cancer in the UK. Shockingly, 93% of patients diagnosed do not survive beyond five years. This stark reality fuels my commitment to raise £1,000 to help change these statistics and bring hope where it’s desperately needed.
Your support can make a life-changing difference: just £50 can equip local GPs and pharmacists with expert, life-saving information to recognize pancreatic cancer signs earlier. £20 helps keep vital online health information accurate and accessible for anyone worried about symptoms. Even £10 contributes directly to this crucial work.
Together, we can turn awareness into action and save lives. Please join us in supporting Pancreatic Cancer Action by donating today — every contribution brings us closer to a future where early diagnosis saves more lives. To learn more and give your support, visit panact.org.
