For the last few months, we’ve been getting to know the work of Eve, a local charity that transforms the lives of families affected by domestic abuse. Eve delivers a range of holistic services, supporting over 600 women and children each year to heal and rebuild their lives. Each of those women have taken a huge leap of faith in reaching out to Eve for help, when they are at their most vulnerable.

On the 15th September, we are going to take our own leap - and step out of an aeroplane at 13,000 feet! It’s a pretty terrifying thought, but pales in comparison when we think about the strength and bravery the women Eve works with have shown.

Eve has been supporting women since 1982, but they’ve never experienced greater need for their services than they are currently experiencing. £500 could pay for:

- Their Silent Solutions helpline to run for 1 month

- One mum and her children to participate in Eve’s Domestic Abuse Recovery Together (DART) course

- 10 specialist counselling sessions for a woman in crisis

Therefore, as a team we would love to raise £2,000.
