SpecialEffect enable fun, inclusion, independence and a better quality of life for physically disabled people across the world through the inspirational use of adaptive technology.

Story

The Computer Game Show is a weekly podcast about videogames, but between some of the hosts and listeners there's a shared interest in running. Some love it, others hate it but do it anyway, and we figured it would be nice to do an organised run together and raise some money for a worthy cause while we're at it.

We're doing the Tatton Park run in September - some 5k, some 10k - and we'd be absolutely thrilled if you could chuck a few quid to SpecialEffect to spur us on.

Equally, if you're a TCGS listener and you'd like to join us on the day, feel free to make yourself known on our Discord server: https://discord.gg/n3zT9QBQ

Also if you're not familiar, here's what SpecialEffect do, in their words:

SpecialEffect are a charity that transforms the lives of people with physical challenges right across the world through the innovative use of technology. They're enabling inclusion and enjoyment by helping people to unlock the magic of video games to the best of their abilities, they're bringing communication, independence and hope for people in intensive care units with severe injuries, and they're using telepresent robots to reconnect medically isolated children with their education and friends. Cheers!
