The Transcontinental is a bicycle race from Geraardsbergen, Belgium to Thessaloniki, Greece via mountain Control Points(for this edition):

● Start: Muur-Kapelmuur, Geraardsbergen, Belgium.

● Control Point 1: Passo dello Spluga, Italy.

● Control Point 2: Zgornje Jezersko, Slovenia

● Control Point 3: Peshkopi, Albania

● Control Point 4: Meteora, Greece

● Finish: Thessaloniki, Greece

Where solo riders and pairs race without outside assistance. Some would say I'm a gluten for punishment. But I do like riding my bicycle. Having lost a sister to Breast Cancer, it means a lot to me to support Breast Cancer Now.

I'm hoping, and counting on you to help us make a difference for those looking for a cure and supporting those who have been touched. We have planned our routes, riding solo in my case. No help or support along the way. Covering over 2500 miles in 14 days. With 4 mountain checkpoints, to get a stamp on my brevet card. I want to get to the final night party in Thessaloniki, Greece.
