Story
I’m running the Richmond half marathon and raising money to support The Colour Works Foundation who run building self belief programmes. This incredible charity supports disadvantaged young people who are often overlooked, giving them an opportunity to build self confidence and skills for their future.
The Colour Works Foundation works with youth organisations to help young people to develop emotional intelligence and build confidence in themselves, things which are lacking in the school curriculum but so relevant to employers, relationships and general self-awareness.
The charity has been co-founded by a close family friend (who is now CEO) and my mum has been on the Board of Trustees since it's early days, taking the positions of Chair and Vice Chair.
Now more than ever, young people need this help and it is harder and harder to secure funding in a difficult charity funding market place. Anything you can give will make a huge difference to the charity the lives of the young people they work with!
Thank you!
