Baggies Cycle Challenge: Watford to West Brom
As many of you know, I enjoy cycling🚴🏾, passionate about bringing football to all⚽, and a proud supporter of West Bromwich Albion🔵⚪. So, when the opportunity arose to take part in The Albion Foundation Cycle Challenge, I couldn’t pass it up!✍🏾
This charity challenge will begin on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at Watford’s Vicarage Road Stadium and will culminate at The Hawthorns just in time for the home game against Watford on Saturday, April 12📆 - a 1️⃣5️⃣4️⃣ mile gruelling bike ride, climbing over 7️⃣0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ feet.
Cycling serves two purposes for me: it keeps me fit and helps clear my mind from the stresses of everyday life. This will be my first time participating in an organised cycling challenge, and it will also be collectively the longest distance I’ve ridden over consecutive days.
The Albion Foundation is an incredible charity that uses the power of football to create meaningful change in the local community. Their work includes providing opportunities in disability sport (including hosting the league that my local Learning Disability Football team participates in), running sports initiatives in areas affected by anti-social behaviour, and supporting girls' sports development. They also run vital initiatives like Alzheimer’s cafes, food parcel deliveries, educational programs to help struggling students, and mentoring for children in care or foster homes.
Your kind and generous contributions can help make a significant difference and empower those who need it most. Thank you for your support!🫱🏼🫲🏾🙌🏾
