Myeloma UK is the only organisation in the UK dealing exclusively with myeloma. We make it possible to live longer and better lives with myeloma. Through research and treatments, we find new ways to a cure. Together, we are the cure.

Story

In July 2023 big Keith was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma (A type of blood cancer). He had no symptoms and no warning. Multiple Myeloma is a remission, relapsing cancer that has no cure. The cancer is now within Keith and alongside his wife, Alex, and two young children Harriet & Freddie. Myeloma UK is the leading charity in the UK for Myeloma patients and has offered his family access to a 24-hour nurse line for questions as well as ongoing support. Most importantly Myeloma UK funds research that improves diagnoses, treatment, and care.

The team of 16 - Ed, Ali, Annie, Sarah, Charlotte, Emma, Paul, Steve, Liam, James, Megan, Louisa, Rich, Kelly, Ruth, and Alex will train, run and most importantly fundraise together through this page. Some of us run half marathons before breakfast and others have never run more than 10km. This will be a challenge for each of us in our own way. Everything Myeloma UK does is funded by voluntary contributions, fundraising, and gifts left in wills which makes the funds we raise more important than ever. Please give what you can. Thank you!
