Story
Team Balmoral is gearing up for the Doddie's Triple Crown, an 800-mile relay charity cycle challenge from Melrose to Dublin. Following on from the success of last year's Doddie's Grand Tour, where the team raised a massive £70,000 for MND research, we are hoping to match our fundraising efforts again.
We are a dedicated group of staff and friends from Balmoral Castle, united by friendship and a shared commitment to fighting Motor Neurone Disease (MND).
For Everyone Fighting MND
Inspired by the legacy of Doddie Weir, a beloved rugby legend whose battle with MND touched millions, and in honour of our dear friend and colleague Brendan, who sadly lost his fight against the disease in June 2025. We ride to raise awareness and support those affected by MND.
Why We’re Riding
- Honour Doddie Weir: Continuing his fight through the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation.
- Support Brendan: Celebrating his courage and determination.
- Raise Awareness: MND is relentless. So are we.
- Fund Research: Supporting vital research to find a cure.
- Build Community: A four-day journey symbolising resilience, unity, and hope.
How You Can Help
- Donate Now: Every contribution supports research and those affected by MND.
- Share Our Story: Use #WhoWouldYouRideFor to spread the word.
- Join the Fight: Stand with us in turning every mile into hope
