Team Canada is raising money for Trek4Ceylon UK
Trek4Ceylon is a UK registered charity and raises funds through cycling, marathons, trekking, walking and other activities to provide support to the medical infrastructure in Sri Lanka and other underprivileged communities across the world. In doing so, we hope to not only bring physical, emotional and mental healing, but also unity and peace. Trek4Ceylon is run by a group of volunteers who are keen to support the less fortunate. Nobody involved in Trek4Ceylon is paid and we strive to operate with integrity and transparency. Trek4Ceylon also has charity status in Auatralia, Canada and Sri Lanka.

The Funds - Purpose

Our goal is to raise funds to rebuild St. Luke’s Methodist Hospital in Puttur, Sri Lanka—a beacon of hope that has sadly fallen into disrepair. Once a cornerstone of the community, offering in-patient and outpatient care, maternity services, and dental care, the hospital was severely impacted by the protracted civil war.

With your support, we can transform this vital institution into a fully functional hospital once again. Funds raised will go directly towards renovating the hospital, equipping it with necessary medical facilities, and recruiting skilled healthcare professionals.

By contributing to this cause, you’re not just supporting a building—you’re investing in the health and well-being of an entire community. Together, we can help restore essential medical services and ensure that those in need receive the care they deserve.

Please consider making a donation to support this important initiative. Your generosity can bring hope and healing to many lives.

Year one 2025/2026 Goal is to renovate the OPD building and offer daily services to the community. Community outreach services are also planned for year 1. In-patient services to follow in year 2 and 3.

Thank you for considering to support this vital cause!
