Million Makers 2023 · 1 July 2023 to 31 December 2023 ·

The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

I’m proud to be part of Wood’s Million Makers ‘Team Challenger’ raising money for The Prince’s Trust, who support disadvantaged young people in the UK into employment, enterprise or education. Back in August we fundraised by climbing the 3 peaks from 3 offices and I was part of the team climbing Snowdon in some tricky weather conditions!

Inspired by Wood's Running Challenge, I’m partaking in a personal challenge of running 5k every day in October!

If you’d like to join for some runs, get in touch!

Thanks,

Peter

The Prince’s Trust believes that every young person should have the chance to succeed, no matter what their background or the challenges they are facing. We help those from disadvantaged communities and those facing the greatest adversity by supporting them to build the confidence and skills to live, learn and earn.

- £10 could fund a call to our helpline, enabling a vulnerable young person gain the critical advice they need

- £40 could provide a young person in poverty with interview clothes to help them secure stable employment
