We’re taking on the Great North Run in 2025 in memory of our Mum, Mandy Cooper and to raise awareness and funds for Saint Michael's Hospice.

Mandy was an inspiration to us all, fighting Multiple Sclerosis for 38 years and brain tumours for a year. We are all so immensely proud of Mandy’s constant determination, courage and strength, but also the compassion and love she always had for others. We hope we can do her proud on raceday in South Shields where we all plan to start and cross the finish line together, in the spirit of the togetherness Mandy always fostered.

Mandy spent a week in Saint Michael’s hospice at the end of her life, with Martin, Lewis & Hannah by her side. We were able to witness firsthand the incredible work of the team at Saint Michael’s, providing the upmost care and dignity to patients and simultaneously providing support to the family.

Your donation will help Saint Michael's support local families living with terminal illness and bereavement across the Harrogate district.
