Story
Hi Everybody,
We're running the 2026 London Marathon in memory of our son Cooper, who we lost in November 2018 aged just five weeks and three days old to SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome). Cooper went to sleep safely and peacefully but never woke up. There were no warning signs and he wasn't poorly - he was perfect and thriving, just like his twin sister, Elodie. Our whole world was suddenly torn apart and we've missed Cooper every day since, and the memories that we never got the chance to make.
We support The Lullaby Trust with the hope that one day we might know the cause of SIDS and more importantly, to help them achieve a future where no baby dies suddenly or unexpectedly. Every week in the UK, around three babies die from SIDS and The Lullaby Trust are working to bring that number down to zero. The Lullaby Trust exists to keep babies safe, funding life-saving research, provide baby safety advice and support families just like ours.
Joining us in the marathon is our amazing friend Nick Sanchez, who never says no to any of our fundraising plans and we can't wait to run together again for Cooper in April.
We are always so grateful for the support of our fundraising and would really appreciate any donation you can give. Your generosity helps save babies' lives and allows us to create a legacy for Cooper - one that is contributing to stopping this happening to any other babies or families.
We all carry Cooper with us everywhere we go, and we'll be carrying him around London for 26.2 miles in April.
Love,
Frankie & Steven
