Story

Team Critical Miles – Running for Children in Critical Need

We are Team Critical Miles – Florian, Rachel, and Paul – taking on the Endure 24 challenge, a 24-hour non-stop relay race. Our promise: there will always be one of us on the track, running through day and night.

Each of us is aiming to complete an ultramarathon (30+ miles) during the event, with a team goal of covering at least 100 miles in 24 hours.

We call ourselves Critical Miles because every mile we run, and every pound you donate, Your donations towards our Critical Miles Challenge will directly benefit our Paediatric Critical Care Unit. The charity helps this team by funding specialist equipment,  support and better facilities to do more and go further when treating critically ill children from across the whole of the Thames Valley.

Your sponsorship will keep us moving when the going gets tough – and help make a life-changing difference for children and their families.

Please support us – every mile counts, every donation matters.

Oxford Hospitals Charity is transforming care for patients and staff throughout the John Radcliffe, Churchill, Horton General, Oxford Children’s Hospital and Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre. Your donations are crucial.

Your gift could help fund vital medical research and training, as well as essential equipment to provide life-changing care in your local hospitals. Donations help transform hospital spaces and provide the little things that make a big difference to patients and staff.

What better way to say thank you to the hospitals that care
