From Kabul to Canterbury: KRAN Staff and Young People Team Challenge

KRAN is calling for courage from Kent communities. Will you stand up for compassion and take action for young refugees and asylum seekers? We're inviting YOU to join us and help us to fundraise for our vital work!

Story

"Courage is not measured by the miles you travel, but by the hope you refuse to leave behind." Shahab, KRAN Youth Ambassador.

Over the next six weeks, KRAN's young people, staff and mentors are taking on a courageous challenge: From Kabul to Canterbury.

By walking, running, swimming, cycling and any other means how, we aim to cover 3,500 miles, that's 700 miles per week! This is the distance between the Afghan capital and the Kent city.

This is is to raise vital funds for our Find Courage for KRAN summer campaign and to raise awareness of the difficult journeys that each of the young people we work with have made.

Please join us to support young refugees and asylum seekers in the face of rising hostility.

Our target is to raise money for our vital services for young, separated refugees and asylum seekers in Kent. Your donations will help us to support:

More than 400 young people with casework

120 students in our Learning for Life classes

60 mentoring partnerships in the community

110 participants in our activities and wellbeing programme

100 refurbished bikes being donated to young refugees

1500 students taking part in our Youth Ambassador talks.

Thank you.
