Doddie's Grand Tour 2025 · 5 February 2025 to 8 February 2025 ·

Doddie’s Grand Tour 2025 is the latest edition of Rob Wainwright's annual charity rides for My Name'5 Doddie Foundation. This Scottish route will see teams hurtling towards Edinburgh as they cover 700 miles in 4 days all to raise funds for MND.

Story

The team formerly known as 'Needing a Northerly' is back for a second year following the 'All Roads Lead to Rome' challenge in 2024. Still raising vital funds for the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation to find a cure for MND, this time, we’re riding under a fresh new name, thanks to our title sponsor—Team Lockett Bros.

In 2025, we’re going bigger than ever! An extended group of riders will split into two pods to collectively cycle over 5,500 miles.

Pod one made up of Anthony Stodart, Chris Lockett, James Fisher, Mark Morris and Phil Mill-Irving supported by Jonathan Gordon and Kate Corry will each be cycling from Dublin to Edinburgh via a chunk of Scotland including Glenshee and Aberdeen planning to cover the full 780+ miles each!

Pod two formed of Finlay, Innes and John Ramsay will be joined by Douglas Kirkham as they take on the same route starting from Stranraer in a two man relay format with the rest of the 300+ others taking part in Doddie's Grand Tour 2025.

All with one goal - To raise as much as possible to help find a cure for the hideous disease that is MND! Your help in achieving that aim would be much appreciated.
