Story
On 4th October 2026, I will be running the Clarendon Marathon as part of a four-person relay team. Together, we'll cover the full 26-mile route from Salisbury to Winchester, aiming to finish in under 4 hours - all to raise funds for vision research.
As an ophthalmologist at Southampton Eye Unit, I regularly see the impact of sight loss on patients and their families. While we can treat many eye conditions, delays in diagnosis or access to specialist care can lead to irreversible vision loss.
Ultimately our aim is to beat blindness caused by devastating eye diseases, and we're really grateful for any help you can give to help forward our research. Thank you.
