Team M.A.N Porsche Power – Walking for Sue Ryder
Sue Ryder was there for our family when we needed them most. On 18th October 2025, we’ll walk in memory of our much-loved Dad, Husband, and Grampy Michael Albert Nicholson — and for every family who has been helped by their incredible care.
We are taking part in the Sue Ryder Starlight Walk in Cheltenham in memory of our great man, Michael Albert Nicholson (M.A.N) — a proud family man, skilled plumber, Porsche enthusiast, and the heart of our family.
Michael passed away on 20th October 2024 after bravely facing cancer and advanced Parkinson’s. In his final days, the team at Sue Ryder Leckhampton Hospice cared for him with compassion and respect, while supporting us as a family through the hardest of times. It’s the same kindness and care they give to so many others too.
Anyone who knew Michael will remember his love of Porsches, his quick wit, and how much he treasured time with family. He filled our lives with humour, warmth, and love — and that spirit will walk with us every step of the way.
That’s why our team is called Team M.A.N Porsche Power – a name that carries his initials and one of his greatest passions. Together, we’ll walk under the starlight to celebrate his life while supporting the care that countless families rely on.
Every year Sue Ryder Nurses and bereavement professionals provide care and support to thousands of people facing their darkest days. But they can't do it without you.
Through sponsorship, you can help make every step count towards compassionate and expert end-of-life care and grief support for families in need.
Every donation, no matter the size, will help Sue Ryder continue their incredible work. 💙
Thank you so much for your support.
