Story
A dedicated team of neonatal nurses from the neonatal intensive care unit at The James Cook University Hospital is honoured to participate in the Great North Run 2026 half marathon on 13 September 2026, proudly fundraising for South Tees Hospitals Charity. We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to support Maisie’s Hope, a cause close to our hearts that directly benefits families facing unimaginable challenges.
Every penny raised goes straight back to our neonatal unit, enabling us to provide precious keepsakes and vital support during the most difficult times. Through your generosity, we can fund beautiful hand and footprint jewellery and heartbeat bears for families who sadly lose a baby. These treasured memories offer lasting comfort and memories that bring solace when it is needed most.
We humbly ask for your support in this important endeavour. Your kind donations empower us to enhance family care and provide compassionate support that makes a real difference. Together, we can bring hope and healing to those who need it most. Please join us in making every step count at the Great North Run 2026.
