Team Nic – Ongoing Fundraising in Memory of Nichala Gallivan

Family, friends, and supporters have come together as Team Nic to raise funds in memory of our beloved Nichala Gallivan.

Nichala, or “Nic” to those who knew and loved her, was an incredible woman—funny, fierce, and full of compassion. Her strength and positivity were unwavering throughout her journey with cancer, and she inspired everyone around her. Even in the toughest times, she radiated warmth and kindness.

We fundraise to honour her memory and to continue the legacy she helped spark through Team Nic—a community brought together by love, strength, and the drive to make a difference. Since its creation, Team Nic has supported vital local causes, and we’re proud to be raising funds for St David’s Hospice Care.

Why We Fundraise

St David’s Hospice Care provided extraordinary support to Nichala and our family during her final months. Their work goes beyond clinical care—they offer emotional and practical support not just to patients, but to families as well, ensuring dignity, comfort, and peace during the most challenging times.

They care for people with life-limiting illnesses across South East Wales, offering home care, day hospices, bereavement services, and more—all of it free of charge. Their support is only possible thanks to generous fundraising and community efforts.
