Story
At Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity, we believe there’s always more we can do for our sick kids and that’s why we will always strive to do more for our patients and families. It’s our mission to raise the vital funds needed to make a real difference to all who use our hospital.
Your support empowers us to take innovative approaches to treating some of the sickest children in the UK. Your fundraising enables us to make our hospital feel just like home. Your donations are helping us to find new ways to treat and cure childhood diseases.
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month (CCAM) and a team of us from Oncology are completing a circuit challenge throughout September to raise money and awareness of childhood cancer. We will be doing crunches, calf-raises and curls (biceps), everyday throughout the month. Our whole team either works to care for children with cancer, or supports those who do. We are also raising money for the Children's Cancer and Leukaemia Group (CCLG). We are very grateful for any money that you donate, but more importantly, we want to raise awareness.
Our team includes: Eloise Neumann, Jenny Adamski, Shivani Bailey, Gerard Millen, Aroosa Iqbal, Donna Rogers, Hannah Craig, Heather Petts, John Apps, Valie Ganosi, Susanne Gatz, Harry Elliot, Laura Fletcher, Jane Cooper, Leah Cluley, Isobel Smith, Holly Parkin, Lorna Tullis, Ellie Turner, Jhorona Begum, Sarah Gingell, Emma Shirvington, Helen Woodman, William Lo, Amanda Friend, Lydia Watson, Kate Hong, Abby Conway, Sarah Hensman, Chloe Bate, Upasana Karthik, Jade Martin, Zoey Parker, Liam Herbert, Kate Mason and Ben Miguras.
