NATIONAL 3 PEAKS in 24 HOURS · 6 September 2025
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
In September 2025, I will have had my kidney Transplant for 20 Years.
Myself and some of my family, friends and colleges will be taking on the National 3 Peaks in 24 hours.
Elliot, Luke, Sam, Tom, Oliver & Dominic are all taking on the challenge with me
The 3 biggest mountains in the UK, one in England, wales and Scotland and will we have 24 hours to complete them all and travel to them all.
Many people are unaware of the impact that Kidney Disease and failure has on patients, and their families.
My Kidney’s failed when I was 8 years old, I spent months in hospital, several visits to intensive care, multiple surgeries and years on dialysis before I was fortunate enough to receive a transplant.
A transplant is life saving and life changing and I am very fortunate to have had one for so long, even with a transplant I have had acute kidney failure due to collapsed ureter, take nearly 20 tablets daily, have a stent replaced twice a year, have regular planned hospital visits and due to no immune system, unplanned visits and admitted to hospital usually 2-4 times each year.
I feel very fortunate and grateful, the point of sharing this information is because many, and I would say most with similar diagnosis are not as lucky, and do not get to live normal lives like I do..
Kidney Research UK,s goal is to end kidney disease and the research and work they do is constantly improving the options, and lives of people affected.
Please celebrate my 20th year of transplantation, and help improve an estimated 7.25 million lives in the UK by sharing, spreading awareness and donating to our fundraiser.
Thanks
