We're part of the Rox Queens – and we're racing for a cause!
On October 19th, 2025, we’re coming together as a team to take on the Battle for Cancer Team Challenge in London, all in support of Cancer Research UK.
This challenge isn’t just about fitness – it’s about fighting back. We’ll be pushing through 9 intense fitness stations, giving it everything we’ve got to rack up as many reps as possible, all while raising funds for life-saving cancer research.
Every rep counts. Every donation helps.
Scroll down to read the personal reasons why each of us has chosen to take on this challenge — and who we’re fighting for.
Support us in this battle – and help bring us one step closer to a world without cancer.

I'm really excited to be taking on this challenge with the Rox Queens, especially for a charity that's so close to my heart. I'm doing this in memory of all those close to me who have fought — or sadly lost — their battle with cancer. This includes my cousin, my uncle, and my granny, who I miss every day. This challenge is my way of honouring them, keeping their memory alive, and helping others still in the fight."

Having lost family members to cancer, raising funds means a lot to me. Taking part in battle cancer as part of team Rox Queens is such an exciting opportunity"

Taking part in Battle Cancer is a huge privilege-seeing first hand in my previous job as a macmillan nurse, and now as an advanced nurse practitioner I treasure the fragility of life and how precious our time is, and the tireless work of this charity has such a huge impact on so many people. Also in my non work life I have had friends and family who had their lives turned upside down with a cancer diagnosis so raising valuable funds is awesome. I am also super excited to be racing as part of the Rox Queens team."

I am taking part in battle of cancer in memory of my late grandfather who battled cancer for many years and passed away 13 years ago. He was my best friend and I cherish the memories we share. I would also like to shout out my father-in -law who is a cancer survivor."
Thank you!
