Tandem Skydives · 23 August 2024

Zoë's Place provides 24-hour palliative, respite and end-of-life care to infants aged 0-5 years with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions. We provide short-term regular care with our dedicated nursing staff, in a home from home environment to give parents and carers a well deserved break.

Story

On August 23rd, a team from Shaftec Automotive Components Ltd will be embarking on an exhilarating adventure to support Zoe's Place Baby Hospice Coventry. We will be taking on a Tandem Skydive

• Steven Healy

• Jason Henry

• Max Chatwin

• Adrian Kitchen

Last Year Shaftec colleagues took part in a range of challenges and we have decided to raise money for Zoe’s Place again in 2024, undertaking Internal initiatives and individual challenges with a target of £6,600 for the year. The Hospice costs £3,300 per day to run.

Each of us will skydive from 14,000ft harnessed to the front of a fully qualified Skydive Langar parachuting instructor, freefalling reaching terminal velocity at 120mph, followed by approximately 5 minutes flying gently to the ground under the parachute.

We have decided to set up a group Just Giving Page to spread the word and raise as much as possible for this great charity.
