Thank you for visiting the Climb of Life 2026 JustGiving page. We are inviting you to please help us again by supporting the 39th year of the annual event - the Climb of Life (the 20th year supporting the ICR). Never doing things by halves!

Story

This year's Climb of Life is going to be a particularly special one for us.

On Friday 13th November 2026, we'll once again be heading into the Lake District fells for the 39th Climb of Life – and, most importantly, celebrating 20 years of the event supporting The Institute of Cancer Research (the ICR).

Over those years, Climb of Life has grown into something quite remarkable. People from across our industry come together for one challenging day in the mountains, united by a common purpose: raising money to help fund world-leading cancer research.

Collectively, Climb of Life has now raised more than £2.5 million, and this year we want to add significantly to that total.

A particularly special year for us

This year is also different for Susie and me personally, as we have joined Frances and Jason in taking on responsibility for organising and helping to safeguard the future of this incredible event.

We see ourselves very much as custodians of something created and built by others. Our job is to protect everything that makes Climb of Life special, while bringing new people, companies and supporters into the event so that it continues raising vital funds for many years to come.

And, of course, Team Stacey wouldn't be complete without Rocky and Filey!

Our two four-legged Climb of Life mascots will once again be joining us on the fells. They may not fully understand why everyone gets up ridiculously early on a cold November morning to climb mountains, but they absolutely understand the walking, the attention and, most importantly, the prospect of food at the end of it!

Over the years Rocky and Filey have become part of our Climb of Life experience, and they'll be proudly flying the flag again for Team Stacey – four legs sometimes being considerably more effective than two!

Why we're doing it

Behind all the camaraderie, spectacular scenery, aching legs and muddy paws is a very serious purpose.

Cancer touches virtually every family in some way. The ICR's scientists are working to understand cancer better and discover smarter, kinder and more effective ways of treating it.

That's why we're doing this.

This year's challenge is appropriately ambitious: 20 Years. 20 High Peaks. For the ICR.

We'll do the climbing. Rocky and Filey will provide the enthusiasm.

We'd love you to provide the support.

Whatever you can donate – large or small – will help us contribute to another fantastic Climb of Life fundraising total and support the extraordinary work of The Institute of Cancer Research.

Thank you for supporting Andrew, Susie, Rocky & Filey, Climb of Life 2026 and, above all, the ICR.

Here's to 20 years – and to making this one count.
